Just a quick note to sing Al's praises.

I always admire his prompt, cheerful and can-do attitude, whatever I throw at him. But this morning he helped me out of a serious spot of bother. He remained calm and methodical and created a workaround within minutes.

I know he's also valued highly around here for his patience and ability to explain things to non-techies (or that even worse breed: semi-techies like me) without making us feel small.
